9 Spice Primal Chili

Chili is the ultimate Crock-Pot recipe. It’s also very easy. To make this chili, all you need to do is throw all the ingredients into a crock pot and forget about it all day. Come home and dinner will be waiting for you. This is a smaller recipe using only one pound of ground beef

Ingredients:
1 pound grass fed ground beef
8 oz can of tomato sauce
14 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 onion (chopped finely)
2 tablespoons beef broth

From Trader Joes

Spice Blend

3 cloves garlic (or more depending on how much you like garlic!)
1 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 Tablespoon smoked paprika
1/2 tablespoon Cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
pinch of pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper (unless you want more heat)
pinch of red pepper flakes
South African Smoke Seasoning blend (smoked paprika, salt, garlic and basil)

Combine all ingredients and cook in the crock-pot for 8-9 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. If you want to, you can brown the ground beef before you put it in the crock pot. Top with chopped onions or scallions.
